Product Description
Rheumatoid Arthritis Natural Capsicum Extract Powder Capsaicinoids Capsicin 1% 98%
Chili, also known as scallop, sea pepper, chili, spicy horn, Qinjiao, etc., is a plant of the genus Solanaceae. Capsicum is an annual or perennial herb. The fruit is usually conical or oblong, green when immature, and bright red, yellow or purple when mature, with red being the most common. The fruit of capsicum has a spicy taste because the peel contains capsaicin, which can increase appetite.
Capsicum extract is composed of a series of capsaicin analogs, mainly Capsaicin, molecular weight 305, Di-hydrocapsaicin, molecular weight 307, Nordi-hydrocapsaicin, molecular weight 293, Homodi-hydrocapsaicin, molecular weight 321, etc.. Capsicum has a variety of effects such as analgesia, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antibacterial.
Main Active ingredients of Capsicum Extract™
Capsicum extract has a wide range of antibacterial activities, and capsaicin is the main spicy substance and active ingredient. Capsaicin is an extremely pungent vanillamide alkaloid. It is the main pungent chemical component in capsicum fruits, accounting for about 65% of the total capsaicinoids. It is mainly distributed in capsicum endosperm and the inner surface of the peel. For the treatment of chronic neuropathic or musculoskeletal pain, although the effect of topical application of capsaicin is moderate or even mild, for a small number of patients who are ineffective or intolerant to other treatment methods, capsaicin has a certain effect as an auxiliary.

What is the function of HDPharma Capsicum Extract™
(1) Effect on the digestive system
Capsicum tincture or capsaicin can be used as a stomachic agent when taken orally, which can promote appetite and improve digestion.
Animal experiments (Basov's gastric dysfunction dog) proved that chili water stimulates the oral mucosa and reflexively strengthens the movement of the stomach. Condiments made with various peppers can increase saliva secretion and amylase activity after oral administration. Large-dose oral administration can cause gastritis, enteritis, diarrhea, vomiting and so on. It has been reported that pepper has inhibitory and antispasmodic effects on isolated animal intestines.
(2) Antibacterial and insecticidal effects
Capsaicin has a significant inhibitory effect on Bacillus cereus and Bacillus subtilis, but it is ineffective against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Its branches and leaves have no antibacterial effect and only slightly inhibit Mycobacterium tuberculosis. 10-20% Chili Pan-fried Vitex has the effect of killing bed bugs.
(3) Redness effect
External use as an applicator has a hair-reducing effect on the skin, reflexively dilate local blood vessels in the skin, and promote local blood circulation. Tinctures can be used for frostbite; however, some people believe that peppers only strongly stimulate sensory nerve endings, causing a sense of warmth, but have little effect on blood vessels, and high concentrations do not foam, so it cannot be regarded as a redness agent.
(4) The effect on the circulatory system.
Spicy substances (ginger, pepper, especially pepper) can stimulate the taste receptors of the human tongue. It reflexively causes the blood pressure to rise (especially the diastolic blood pressure), and has no obvious effect on the pulse. Intravenous injection of capsaicin or capsicum preparations in anesthetized cats and dogs can cause a short-term drop in blood pressure, slower heartbeat, and dyspnea. This is caused by stimulation of chemoreceptors or extensor receptors in the lungs and coronary artery area. It has a direct excitatory effect on the isolated guinea pig atrium, and also has a constrictive effect on the blood vessels of the hind limbs of rats.
(5) Other effects.
It has been reported abroad that eating red pepper as a condiment (unknown variety) food for 3 weeks can significantly increase the free hydrocortisone in the plasma and increase the excretion in urine; it can also reduce fiber Proteolytic activity. The water decoction of the above-ground part has an excitatory effect on the isolated rat uterus.
