INCI name: Carbomer
Carbomer 980 is a cross-linked polyacrylate polymer, and its performance characteristics are similar to those of the industrial standard carbomer 940. Carbomer 980 has more advantages in some cases because it is polymerized in a Cosolvent System. Recommended applications include transparent gel, water alcohol gel, cream and shampoo. Kabom U 20 polymer and kabom U21 also have similar properties, but their application range is wider and easier to disperse.

Carbomer model:
The numbers behind the carbomer model represent the viscosity model. Carbomer is composed of repeated structural units of acrylic acid, and the polymer chain is cross-linked with allyl sucrose or allyl pentaerythritol.
